BOOBS Cruise?

LOL that sounds like Booze cruise doesn't it?!?

With my new found obsession for cruising, I mentioned a BOOBS cruise for the next get together, and I saw a few people say they were interested.

Well just because I am so sad that I couldn't come this time, and how much I have loved looking at everyone's pictures- I started researching cruises.

Your not going to believe this! I went to the carnival cruise line site and they have 3 day cruises that go from Florida to the Bahamas that are only $179/person! OMG can you imagine how much fun we could have?!

I am all for being on the planning committee (whether we choose to cruise or not) I do have to forewarn though- I am in the process of planning our wedding in May- so as the time gets closer I will need lots of help! Now let's hear everyone opinions! I know you just got back- but I'm sure your just as eager for a reunion as I am!

XOXO

  1. That could be awesome! I love cruising, too and could definitely be interested.

Galveston is another place we could leave from and Carnival does cheap 4 day weekend cruises to Mexico and northern Caribbean.

If you are interested in this, my husband is a travel agent on the side and he might be able to work out a group booking for us. If you want me to see if he's interested in helping, email me at ldswims0808@gmail.com. (And he'll help whether it's Galveston or Florida or LA or Seattle. Just thinking Galveston since Houston is a hub and there are always cheap tickets into Houston...)

  2. DH is still shaking his head about the busted arm...4 days would be hard for me to pull off, so I vote weekend in a city somewhere...south or west this time!

  3. I think a cruise sounds great! I think 4 days may be hard for some people, but we will never be able to meet everyones needs.

I personally like the idea of doing multiple things each year to meet the needs of the most people. If we do a cruise and a city weekend then people can pick which one (or both) that works for them. Maybe we do one weekend and one "bigger" thing each year. There are hundreds of us out here so even if we do multiple trips we could pull off 40-50 each trip.

  7. I would do a cruise, but would most likely need to bring the family.

  8. Is it a longer trip to go to Mexico or somewhere else in the Caribbean?

  9. I know that there was some discussion and New Orleans was tossed around a bit, as it is more centraly located and accessible for the poeple on the West Coast and Midwest...

  12. That is a nice price, the only problem for me would be the airfare since I am on the west coast. I was hoping something on our side this time so I could come!!

  13. Hi there! We had talked a little about New Orleans because it's central and such a fun city with lots of music. The price is right on that cruise you found, that's for sure! It might make logistics tricky because we had people arriving over the course of four days and leaving over the course of three days. A cruise would be less flexible on the scheduling side. But the Caribbean would be lovely...

  14. I think the cruise is a great idea, several people were talking about it this weekend, I honestly think the 2 day weekend was waaaayyy too short of time, you barely get to meet everyone and somethings just dont fit in time budget- umm such as sleep. So I think 4 day cruise would be fab, maybe we should do a vote :)

  17. Camille mentioned a cruise for next time before we'd even taken off from Chicago, & I'm TOTALLY lovin' that idea! I agree that 2 days was way too short (especially MY 19 hours/2 days), but bygones.
New Orleans is also a great idea. Heck, I'm game for anything since I've not been to enough places. A vote for this year's cruise would mean a definite stationary city locale the next, or vice versa... I just can't wait to get together with you all again!!!

  18. I think we should start planning a 4 day cruise and another weekend so that people who can't get away for a 4 day could enjoy a weekend in another city for a shorter time.

I'm on board for whatever you guys decide. I am sad I couldn't swing the Chicago trip so bring on the next best thing! ;)

  19. I'm one that couldn't go to Chicago, and I would LOVE to go on the Cruise, as I too love Cruising! I would do my best to make it for a Cruise for sure!!

I would prefer leaving from the West Coast as well, as the Airfare wouldn't be such a burden on us West Coasters, but hey, a Cruise is a Cruise!
